Ronald B. Taylor

Mr. Taylor graduated in 1980 from the University of California Davis with honors, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. He received his law degree in 1986 from the University of Colorado in Boulder. That same year he was admitted to practice law in Colorado.

In addition to the Colorado state bar, Mr. Taylor is also admitted to practice before the following federal courts:

U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado
U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California
U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10 th Circuit

Prior to founding the firm, Ron Taylor was the General Counsel for Community Health Plan of the Rockies, Inc. Community Health Plan was a Colorado company established to operate a health maintenance organization (HMO) headquartered in the Denver area. As a former general counsel, Mr. Taylor is able to provide a unique business perspective to legal issues faced by small to medium sized businesses. During his tenure as general counsel, he dealt with diverse issues related to corporate finance, corporate restructuring, and oversaw the Company’s employment matters.

Mr. Taylor also has 18 years of diverse experience in other areas of the law. As a former trial attorney with Hall & Evans, LLC, he has state and federal court litigation experience in a variety of areas, including product liability and malpractice defense.

Mr. Taylor’s current practice also emphasizes employment law, general business matters for small to medium sized companies, family law, children’s rights, immigration matters, construction disputes and liens, and minor criminal matters. He also has substantial experience with regulatory disputes; regulatory compliance; commercial financing issues (including merger and stock sale transactions complicated by regulatory solvency and approval requirements); and corporate compliance programs.
